Coaching helps people ‘step out of being a victim of fate into a creator of their own destiny.’
Sir John Whitmore
I specialise in executive and wellbeing coaching.
I take a holistic approach to help empower you to shift your perspective, clarify your vision, and achieve your goals.
I offer a range of different 1-2-1, group coaching sessions and coaching communities to help you decide on the big and small decisions facing you - just check out the services section on this website and get in touch with me. I will be delighted to help you.
I am an accredited coach, I have completed a Diploma in Transformational Coaching accredited at EMCC practitioner
level and I am a member of the EMCC
I spent 30 years in public service trying to fix peoples' problems and provide them with a voice. As a coach I see the value in empowering people to fix their own problems and speak up for themselves.
As a public servant serving in leadership positions I know first-hand how isolating and pressured work can be. As a mother of young adults and ageing parents - I also understand how overwhelming caring responsibilities can be on top of everything else we need to do and want to achieve.
That's why I decided to change career and support others to reach their full potential, lift their burdens and take back control of their lives. I can help you think more clearly, crystalise your goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
I have been a Parliamentary candidate, councillor, Deputy Leader of a District Council and school governor. I have worked for a charity, in the not-for-profit sector and for an MP. If you think I can help you - please contact me.
Michelle was patient and empathetic while able to ask the right questions to get me thinking differently about my life. She offered practical exercises to help me look ahead to where I want to be, and then to start the small daily changes needed to get there. Michelle also helped me work through some practical actions to incorporate into my daily life to help me manage my ADHD more efficiently at work. If you're looking to work towards a goal or just feel like you need to change something in your life and want to figure out what that is, I would highly recommend Michelle.

Michelle is a positive, personable, insightful coach. She makes her coachee feel at ease and her extensive understanding of the political landscape means there is common ground from the start. She asks insightful questions which helps to keep you on track. For example, I have lots of ideas and the simple question “how will this help you achieve your long term goals?” was enough to help me stay focused!

Michelle was quick to listen and asked insightful questions. Each coaching session built on the previous one, with Michelle’s excellent summaries, it was an adventurous journey.

Michelle really helped me think through a major career change. She gave me the confidence to properly reflect on what I wanted, what I was good at, and what mattered to me in my career. Her support helped me get much clearer on the kind of roles I wanted to pursue and gave me the confidence to take the next step. I am so thankful for Michelle's expertise!

The sessions helped me prioritise what mattered most at different points in time, particularly when balancing multiple professional opportunities and personal commitments. I found the coaching incredibly valuable in improving my self-awareness, confidence and decision-making. It gave me greater clarity, structure and focus, as well as practical tools to help me move forward with purpose and confidence.
I'd just finished maternity leave (and a very very difficult year for a number of reasons) so was filled with imposter syndrome, self-doubt, sleep deprivation and general feelings of failing at everything. Michelle was a blessing in disguise - I didn't even realise how low my confidence was - and she really helped me to reassess my view of myself and to celebrate all I had achieved, and hopefully(!) all that I will continue to achieve.
